President’s Message

TR headshot 2014 Hello and welcome to NWSB!

One full-service community bank has been part of the face and fabric of Carroll County for more than 150 years. One bank has played a unique, vibrant role in the proud local history of workers, homeowners, homemakers, students, farms and families for generations.

The many chapters of this institution’s legacy dates back to 1864 when the First National Bank of New Windsor was formed, becoming New Windsor State Bank in 1932. NWSB has survived and thrived through many periods of economic challenge and prosperity while staying true to its founding values of friendly, personal service and a strong commitment to the communities in our region.

During the past two decades in particular, we have taken a bold yet disciplined approach to growth. We have also stepped forward to serve customers who have felt left behind as Big Banks have absorbed local entities and closed nearby branch locations. As a result, NWSB has had the opportunity to introduce its reliable service culture to a growing population of new customers.

Our strategic goal is to serve more customers in more communities throughout our region for many more generations to come, providing our unique brand of personalized service coupled with state-of-the-art banking technology and a team of highly skilled professionals.

If you haven’t visited one of our branches lately, I invite you to stop by. All of our staff is eager to meet you. You might even know some of us already, since we pride ourselves in being an active part of the community.

Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas with me directly by calling 410-549-1414 or emailing me at info@NewWindsorBank.com. I sincerely thank you for choosing to bank with NWSB.
